Tank tops or Sleeveless shirts
Tank tops, some time Sleeveless shirt, singlet or vest, is a shirt that is produced without sleeves. Tank tops can be worn by all gender including men, women and children, but for each of them they can be found in different styles. Most often tank tops are worn by the players of bicycling and track and fields. Tank tops have been made a popular dress in the U.S.A since 1980s. Tank tops are also an acceptable public causal dress in some locales. Most often tank tops are preferred to wear in hot session in order to ventilate in arm holes.
In American English, tank tops are sleeveless t-shirts though can be found in many styles and designs and worn as underwear and sometime as outer shirt. Sleeveless shirt term is also used in Australian English, although the term “singlet” is a common word used for referring the garments while the term “vest” is a British English term.
The name Tank top, which recorded in English since 1968, is derived from its similar word tank suit, a style of one piece women's swimsuit with shoulder straps. Its name derives from the word swimming tank, a term used to use in 1920s which is nowadays called a swimming pool.

Halter tops
A type of tank top or sleeveless shirt which is mostly worn by women that ties around the neck is called Halter tops.
Tube top
A type of shirt without sleeves or shoulders which is wrapped around a woman’s torso, is called tube top.
Spaghetti-strapped shirt
A typeof tank top which has a cord on the shoulders for holding up the shirt is calledSpaghetti-strapped shirt. It’s mostly used by women and girls nowadays.
Cutoff shirt
A cutoff shirt is most often worn by men which is actually a shirt but have cutoff sleeves. A cutoff shirt can be found in any kind and designs.
T-back shirt
A T-back shirt tank top is actually narrow in the back than its front, it resembles to a male variant of the halter tops.
A-shirt
A-shirt, also sometime a vest, wifebeater or muscle shirt, is mostly worn as undershirt, though it’s also normally worn as a single outer layer. A t-shirt usually worn by men but is nowadays also worn by women. Its nick is almost same to that of a regular shirt.
A-shirt can be used as an undergarment or simply an outer layer. Actually it’s tight as it is made of ribbed cotton or other fabrics.
